Working on finishing my coop, I have a concern;
While adding the shingles to the roof, I noticed that the roofing nails were going through the wood and sticking about a 1/4" below the plywood. I know that the nails that I am using are a little long, but they were FREE. Has anyone had an issue with there chickens hitting the roof of the coop. I am concerned that I may have chickens starting the impale themselves on the ceiling. Any thoughts on this.

Thanks

The roof line goes from about 5' down to 4'6", you know your tired when, you did not think about bending the nails.....Thank You
