Question?

Perfect pet IMO!
Mine is an indoor diapered duck. He doesn't chew furniture, pee on the carpet, poop or vomit on the carpet (like a dog), bark or hiss, or scratch or shed. He just follows me around, cuddles, and preens, haha.

Stress relief. I find mine have a calming effect. And when I work with upwords of 30+ 2.5-5 year olds all day, I need that calming effect when I get home!

And as I opened their door this morning, I asked if they provided me some breakfast materials and the 2 girls had left me 2 eggs. Yesterday, I only got one and I have to say, it was the most beautiful egg yet, the pretties blue and smooth. Too bad I cracked the shell when I was cleaning it.

I've not bought eggs since January when my girls started laying.

Therapy - good answer! Right up there with Garden Therapy and Dachshund Therapy!

And it's really cool when they lay their first egg! (My hen laid her first this morning....so a bit of a ducky high around here today!

If you have ever seen one home in on a June Bug, you will know another reason to keep them. Their antics and focus is awesome.

They always make me laugh...I was feeling blue today and was sitting on the deck watching the world go by...I have six chainlink kennel runs on concrete...they are 8' X20', nice and roomy...I keep two kiddy pools in two of the runs with the door open as the concrete is cool and the runs are shaded...the ducks and geese like to hang out in those runs in the heat of the day...well, all eighteen geese were in one run resting, bathing, preening...and then...Carlisle, (totally a Twilight fan, my Muscovy drake, saunters, well, more like Sherman marching through Georgia, into the run where the geese were...there was a godawful racket and said drake cleared the area of errant geese...they stampeded out of there like their butts were on fire...Carlisle came to the gate, stuck his head out and whistled up his mate Esme...like, "come on in baby and lets have a dip...I got rid of all the stinking geese." I was just cracking up over the big boy's antics...he is large and very handsome, and in charge...I am not blue any more...ducks are affordable therapy...

Mine are sweet and cuddely, and are in training to be therapy ducks. They will be going to schools and hospitals and nursing homes. Their motto. " two quacks giving back"
