Everyone's poultry and other animals are unique because they too have intelligence/sentience and are products of their environment as well as products of their ancestry, experiences and diet. Not to mention all the other stimuli they encounter daily that alters them. It's good to keep an open mind as to what interactions and perceptive capacities they possess. Who'd have thought chooks could be fascinating. When I first got them I was going along with the common notion of them as stupid creatures, but they certainly aren't.
