My hen has been laying a clutch of eggs, she usually since I had her makes a clutch of 8-10 eggs before she begins to set on them, I was wondering she has around 8 eggs since around 2 weeks!? I was wondering will the eggs develope when she begins to set and warms the eggs!?

Maybe it depends on the themp if it has been no warmer then 80 and no colder then 45 then maybe I have kept eggs around 10 days with good hatches but never had then set any longer

Hello :frow and Welcome to BYC! As long as you have a rooster who has been doing his job, and as Cooper Farms mentioned, as long as the eggs have been in a dry place and haven't been really hot or really cold there is a good chance at least some of them will hatch. Not as many of the older eggs will hatch if she doesn't start sitting on them until they are two or three weeks old, but the younger ones should.
