I hope this is in the right section.
My hen decided she wanted to hatch some eggs. Well I wasnt exactly expecting any to hatch but yesterday at about 2 PM I went to gather eggs and there was a chick that was hatching! The hen had rolled it out of her nest oddly so I picked it up and put it in our incubator. That was yesterday. It still hasnt come out and I know it should have. I have taken a little of the shell off without removing the membrane. It appears the yolk is fully absorbed and the umbilical cord is completely dry. It seems to be fine, chirping and moving a bit. Should I take it out?
Thanks for looking.
