questions about a breed

so i just bought two young barred rock hens...i think i spelled that rightare they good layers, whats your opinion?

I have 3 barred rock hens and they are the best layers that I have I get an egg a day from them even in the winter I am getting more as soon as I can

I like barred rocks. They are calm, pretty, and lay nice big brown eggs. They won't out lay a Leghorn, but that is a small price to pay. When they are too old to lay they make a nice stewing hen. All around great chicken.
