Questions about a late hatch (Opened a dead egg to find it isn't)

She passed sometime last night. Her membraine is still wet but doesn't absorb any water, and her veins have darkened and thinned. I don't know if it was from me accidently opening her shell, or from the fact my incubator shut off at some point last night because one of the dogs unplugged it after I had gone to bed.

So sorry. I know how you feel. I've lost a few like this through the years.Ones I thought to be ok to help because of time. Not always easy to tell by candling. Some made it, some didn't.

I am too, thanks for looking out for this thread it made me feel better while she was trying. There is one last egg in the incubator I'm not holding out much hope for that looks half formed, but you would sooner find me throwing myself off a bridge before I touch that one. I thought it was dead too but after the mistake with this one I left her in there. There was no way. Her shell is intact and I'm just going to fill the incubator's water and wait.
