Wow! Stumbled on this today. 3 years almost to the day since I have been here. Never did mend the relationship with the Circusman. I tried, but he remained a polite stranger - continued to alienate people - fell, broke his neck, and died alone. One of his daughters called and thanked me for being his friend. She said that what happened between us was what happened to all who became close to him. I miss his company.

All else remains good in these uncertain times. The Princess and I remain in apparent good health and still enjoy the company of one another. In this new world of quarantine/isolation, thank all that is good for the woman that still rocks my world.

Kids and grandkids are all good. I still have my dogs and tomato plants. Still enjoying the outdoors and field trials.

I just found this thread today and while it was hilarious and also somewhat reassuring reading about all the inconveniences sneaking in on us with ageing, I began to wonder about what the reasons might be that several people that posted early on have last been seen here on BYC many years ago.

The older we get, the more people we miss that mattered in our lives.

Im 32 going on 70 lol.....look at policr officers and doctors they look like they just got out of nappies,while sorting out chickens working out ways to avoid slipping falling and hurting myself.... looking at taking a loan out for downstaires bathroom as need to go loo 3 times an hour lol. Wake up in morning feel like i been hit by a truck. Have no idea what youth these days are actually saying most of the time need a urban dictionary. Still fascinated how much technology controls the world now xxx

I bought some wine the other day, and was so flattered when the child who was cashiering asked for my ID.
