I'm sure this has been discussed many, many times... so forgive me.

Has anyone used this product? (STOLTCO 2pcs DIY Porthole Chicken Feeder-on Amazon) I was thinking of using it with a bucket or tote.
Would 2 openings be enough for 7 chickens? Also, doesn't the food go stale during humid summers? Thanks so much for your advice!

I have not seen that before. Have you tried searching the threads about this item?
I tried searching for it, but mostly found PVC feeder ideas. I wasn't sure if this was a new product that someone had experience with. It looks okay to me, but do chickens mind having their vision blocked while eating?

We have a diy pvc version. We put in 3 access points for 7 chickens. I don't know that I have ever noticed all 3 occupied at one. Our chickens have no problem having their vision blocked while eating. They stick their head in and eat away.

This is the first time I'm seeing that particular item. It looks like chickens would be able to bill the feed out fairly easy, because it is up high in the opening.

If you want something like that, here is a better option IMO, If you don't want to DIY. They have to stick their head in further, so less feed being billed out if any.

You can also make your own no waste feeder, that is what I did. It uses 90 degree pvc elbows. I don't have a problem with feed going bad.

One of my feeders.

Inside the feeder. I secure the elbows with L brackets, not silicone.
