Questions about goose eggs, please need some help!

I received two Chinese geese a few months ago from my mother. I've known the geese since they we're babies and they're about 2 now. In late February she started her nest and has since laid 37 eggs, the most recent Being today. She started lining her nest with down which I've read means she's getting ready to go broody. Is it normal for for this much time to go by between her first eggs and now?
