PeepsCA, I maped to see how long of a drive it would be to Cali. and it is 1 day and 8 hours to Grass Valley, CA!

Sorry I haven't updated for a while. I had to go to the Hospital because I passed out and have had a major headache all day.
We have either 11 or 12 keets left. I'm going to call Ideal on Monday to say how many died within 4 days and hopefully they'll put those extras in with the Pied Keets when they ship those out.

Yes. Pain Releivers have been my Best Friend so far.
Well, we were on this boat because we went out on the lake a couple miles away just to do something and when we got to the dock to put the boat up My foot slipped and my head hit the dock BUT luckily there was one of those pads that keep the boats from hitting the dock and scratching the boat. Most of my head landed on that but the shock was enough to put me out.
My luck has been down right horrible for a couple days.

Oh my goodness please be careful and follow the docs advice. Concussions are no trivial matter no matter how mild. I know I got my bell rung back in 2004 when my horse trampled me and dragged the buggy over the top of me. I got life flighted out. Mild concussion but they gave me a huge list of stuff I wasn't supposed to do for a few days and Driving was one.

Oh wow ducky, sorry to hear you took a bad fall. Hope the Drs did a cat scan and all that on you? Head injuries are bad stuff and can take a long time til your head feels right again... Hope you heal quickly and don't have any lasting effects from it.

Yep, cat scan, MRI, and all that stuff. My grandmas sisters husband agreed to pay for everything since he felt very sorry for me. (They have enough money as it is anyway.)
And since we went to the zoo and was there all day, I wasn't able to call Ideal. Should I just call them tomorrow or would they now when the chicks got here?

I would still call them and tell them about the deaths, especially since it was shortly after you got them and ask them to replace them or at least refund you for them. IMO it's worth a shot to try and get replacements if they have not shipped out the other keets already, cuz who knows, you may end up losing half the next batch the send you
And yes, they should know when those gets were delivered, it may not be the person that took your order, but not having any tracking info on a box of live keets just seems ridiculous to me considering they are a professional hatchery
