Questions about Hamsters!Big enougnCage?

So, my L.Sis wants a hamster as a pet, and I found this cage on Amazon she can afford.Is it alright to be able to house one hamster in?It comes with everything but the bedding, wich is good cause she cat afford it.Also, how much are hamster at a local Petsmart/Petco?

Those types of cages are pretty small. I prefer to use aquariums. Most will be cheaper than that cage. You can use a 10 gallon tank and add a top cage extension, otherwise I picked up a 15 gallon for about 25 dollars from a local feed store. 15 dollars for the top, and about 10 for a wheel, another 15 for a house and food dish and waterer.

Hamsters should be about 15-20 dollars. That's what they are here.
