Questions about japanese bantam x cochin bantam pullet

I have one japanese bantam x cochin bantam pullet that hatched 11th june this year. Her dad is cross between Male Cochin bantam and female japanese bantam, her mother is japanese bantam. When will she start laying and can she mate with normal sized cockerel. Also how many % is she japanese bantam and how many % cochin bantam. Thanks

She is super cute! If she is small, I wouldn't put her in with a Standard sized cockerel at all.

If you want fertilized eggs from her, put her in with another bantam sized rooster. I believe most hens start laying around 6 months of age, I honestly never have kept track of when mine started laying.

25% Cochin, 75% Japanese

(which is the same as saying 1/4 Cochin, 3/4 Japanese)
