I would try feeding them in portions, if you leave too much food in the bowls they might flick out the seeds they don’t like as much and make a mess.
Might take some testing to figure out how much they eat in one day. Just keep cutting the amount you give each day until there’s barely any left the next day

we have decided on the names Jack and Jill the male Jack is plain white (Bulleyed white) with nothing special going on the female Jill has one brown spot on either side of her body and a dark part to her beak (Pearl pied)

this cage is not permanent but yeah i was thinking he might fight with his sons
