Questions about quail keeping in North Carolina..

Do I need any specific licences to keep Coturnix quail? How about selling quail? Anyone here have decent success at selling quail in NC?

I've met two different sets of people that sell quail. There must not be any laws against it, but I don't know for sure.

I have one male and will be getting a few females once I get a proper structure made for them.

In North Carolina, you must have a game bird permit for quail. google it & it will give you the link to the application. The fee is $5.00. You must have this to possess eggs or birds.
