In the Brooder
I have a few questions maybe yall can answer. I am new to quail an I want to start raising about 10 or so for egg purposes. What are some of the requirements to keep them especially this time of the year? I live in SC at nights it gets cold and when winter starts really hitting its not uncommon for us to get 15-20 degree weather before daybreak. I would be keeping them outside in a raised pen that is enclosed on three sides and the roof. Anything else I should add to the pen or to help keep them alive thru the winter?
Thanks for your time

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
