questions about sumatras

OK if you read my signature then you lnow that I have sumatra chicks in my bator. I have a few questions: When will their feet turn blue/black? And do they mature slowly?

I have no personal experience, but from what I've read the babies will hatch out yellow and then turn black as they mature and grow their feathers in. The breed is also slow to mature.
