Yeah, I had a few mobile air cells, too.....thankfully, those were two of the ones where development hadn't even started that I took out last night.
Oh, I KNOW I will love the BLRW.....they are my dream chickies so I was just thrilled to see the developent....I know they say don't count your chickens before they hatch, but right now, I HAVE some BLRW!!!! LOL I just have very limited patience (read NONE) and wish they would hatch!!!!! We are at the beginning of day 7 after all!!!! LOL
I think the BLRW are gorgeous chickens. Are you going to keep the roos? If you are, I would definitely like to get on that egg waiting list!
Good luck with your babies!
I have a couple with moving air sacs. Only one seems to have an embryo developing and I am praying it will hatch. I hate to think, with that baby bouncing around like crazy in there, that the poor thing won't live.
Yes, I am hoping to get a really nice roo and a couple of hens and having a breeding pen for them. It might be a little while before they lay any eggs though!!! LOL These come from some beautiful birds so I have very high hopes for them.
As for my eggs with air cell issues, I plan to watch the CLOSE when it it time to hatch. I plan to assist if needed since it would obviously not be an issue with the chick. I just have my fingers crossed...I'll cross them extra tight for your little one, too.
Alright, laying it on the side sounds like a good idea. I have room around the cartons....I had 3 laying there and took two out already, anyway. Thanks. Poor little thing, I just hope she does alright.
