You can see the difference between the two little black ones and the rest when they are very small. See if they look like yours! I'll see if I can get an adult comparison picture later. They're nearly fully grown now. But they won't stand still for a photo!!

@Aliyanna it can't be more than a few days old in the first picture, one week max. So she's just a little older than the two months you've had her.

@MontserratChick the OP's chick is definitely not a Coturnix. Looks like you got wild type colored chicks (the common color) amonst Italians or Goldens. Two Italians have a 25% chance of producing a wild type so it's not unusual.

I have another odd question. Since she is growing up and no interest in other birds when we take her outside.....will she be alright alone? With no other bird company....she spends a lot of her day on people's shoulders but is that enough.

I do not think that that is a coturnix as I own them and they have no head feathers. I may be wrong (I frequently am) but that is my belief.

These are photos of the abandoned quail we found in our yard. We found him about 2 months ago. We are unsure of the sex or kind of quail...all we know is that he lives up to the name we gave...Sweetie!
Are those head feathers or your earring?? If it doesn't have head feathers then I still think it looks a lot like my pharoah quail that @lomine very helpfully helped me to identify in amongst my Italian coturnix. I've finally managed to get a picture, albeit not a very good one!

I'm probably wrong as I'm not very experienced!

No...that is her head feathers... I am thinking she is a coastal quail....I believe it is a subspecies of the California. One of the links I put on earlier has a link to a photo we have been looking at...she looks like a lot of other birds.....except for that topknot!
