1. What does it mean when a chick hatches 2 days early but isn't developed yet?
2. When do i need to put feed and water in for the chicks?
3. What temp should it be after hatching?
4. When the egg cracks how long till it hatches?
5. What should be the humidity for the last 3 days?
6. How long should i wait till i through out the eggs that didnt hatch?
7. How long should i keep the chicks in the incubator after hatching?
8. How long till the chick hatches once you hear it peep?

Question1 I have never had a chick hatch early and not be ready to hatch. Some hatch early cause of temp fluctuations but they wont hatch if not ready as far as I know anyway.
Question 2 I put them in the brooder after they are dry and fluffed usually around 12 to 24 hours and have food and water in it for them.
Question 3 95 degrees
Question 4 from pip to hatch can take anywhere from a few hours to 24 or more hours
Question 5 I try to keep humidity at about 65 %
Question 6 I wait at least til day 25 and candle to make sure no movement
Question 7 see question 2
Question 8 basically see question 4
Hope this helps

I'll try to help you out a little here.

#1. Not sure. but if it's the yolk still attached your talking about what I do is I wrap the chick in a damp paper towel and put it back in the bator, I spray the paper towel to keep it damp so the chick or yolk don't stick to it. When the chicks ready it will crawl out of the paper towel. I usually open the windows a bit on the bator to let some of the humidity out to keep from ruining the rest of the eggs.

#2. When I see pips, I get a brooder ready with food and water and turn on the light so it's all warmed up and ready. I"m one of those that removes the chicks before all have hatched. I do leave them at least 24 hours in the bator. I've read others say they can go for 3 days before they have to have food and water. Mine usually are ready to eat and drink when I take them out after 24 hours.

3. I use a 60 watt bulb in the brooder but my brooders are 2 - 20 gal aquariums and 2 large clear plastic tubs. I hang the light on those expandable screens that go in windows so the light is inside the brooder. If it's cool in the house i put a towel over the screen part to avoid drafts and keep in as much heat as possible. As they get a little older I raise the light to attach it to the shelves I have put up to clamp the heat lamps too. I don't use a thermometer but it's said that they should be 95 degrees and decrease it 5 degrees a week till they reach 70 degrees. Don't hold me to that one because that's not my practice. I"m sure the pros will chime in before long.

#4. It could take up to 24 hours to actually hatch after a pip. If it takes longer I usually help them out. NOt all people do this either. It's up to the individual if they want to intervene or not. I've had lots of success. If they're meant to make it they will.

#5. I keep my humidity around 45% and 50% for the entire time. Some say to raise it. I don't. It works better for me.

#6. Wait at least 3 days after their hatch date. I candle then open them before I toss them. I've found live chicks. But have had no success with one making it after I opened an egg. Probably was't meant to be anyway. I just hate to not give them a chance at least.

#7. Same answer as #2.

#8. YOu should hear peeping not long after they go into lock down. When they hatch they usually get real noisey as soon as they're out of the egg and calm down after a few minutes.

I hope this helps

Thanks that helped quite a bit. But i have more questions:
1. What if i see a fully developed chick but it doesnt hatch?
2. What if theres a fully developed chick but its in backwards?
3. How long can you store eggs before you put them in an incubator?
4. Wht temp should th stored eggs be kept at?
5. When a chick hatches and moves the other eggs does that harm them?
6. Tips and what to do when storing eggs.

Thanks for answering and later ill probaly ask more.

More questions

Like heres one when i canlde my eggs most them are the right way in there but about 4-8 of the are setting on the side facing down so they only take up half the eggs what does that mean? are they alive?

AND
In the incubator i have the eggs sitting in egg cartons should i also put egg cartons in the hatcher for lockdown?

#1 ~ If they are not in lockdown yet, I wouldn't worry about it. Just my personal opinion.

#2 ~ You can put them in egg cartons during lockdown, if you want to. Totally your choice.

1. What if i see a fully developed chick but it doesnt hatch?

It means that somthing happened before hatch. It could be anything. Normally somthing
to do with humidity.

2. What if theres a fully developed chick but its in backwards?

What do you mean 'backwords'? It should position itself for hatch during the last 3 days of incubation.

3. How long can you store eggs before you put them in an incubator?

7-10 days at room temp. with pointy end facing down.
If you store them longer than two days, turn them once daily.

4. Wht temp should the stored eggs be kept at?
40F - 75 F

5. When a chick hatches and moves the other eggs does that harm them?
It shouldn't, unless it cracks the others.

6. Tips and what to do when storing eggs.

Turn the eggs once daily when storing, be sure to put pointy end down, do not store more than

one week. If you do, chance of hatching will dramaticly decrease.
