My silly boy is displaying now today! Someone please tell these guys its only midwinter! Next thing you know I will be tromping out in the snow to collect pea eggs like Garden Peas. :th
At least I have a broody hen.

All boys fan in the off season it is the screaming that lets you know it is almost/or is time for mating rituals to begin, if they free range you will noticed the males will start to chase each other for a week or so, after that they will begin to circle each other and the dances will begin, then the mating will begin, these take place over a months time before the hens actually start breeding from what i observed.
