So we have a broody Ancona duck who has been incubating 7 eggs for a couple weeks. They are pretty far along, but not fully formed yet. We didn't mean for them to get this far, we have been trying to break the hen's broodiness for over a week now. I would like to know a quick and easy way to kill the ducklings painlessly. If possible, I would rather there be no blood involved. If we could find a home for the ducklings that would be even better, if there is anyone in Iowa willing to take up to 7 Ancona ducklings.
I would appreciate any help I can get!
