quick question - out of feed on the holiday weekend

Free range if you can... if not... I would go to the store and get some things like (mine love this) Kale and raw peanuts... I also would check for cracked corn in the wild bird feed section of wal-mart type stores....

Ingles here carries chick starter... wal-mart in the larger towns carries layer crumbles (sometimes)... then there is TSC that is open today (I just got back).

We have some local Walmart's that carry poultry feed. You can also feed rabbit feed. most Walmarts have rabbit feed. As some suggested: wildbird feed, old fashioned oatmeal, whole wheat flour, cornmeal. Lots of stuff taht you should be able to find today.

Better half pulled a lot of wild carrots frm the flower gardens, they loveed them not one thing was left.
