I am getting my Geese on May 31-June 1. I will need to leave for about 3 days to go to Iowa to pick up some new blood of the rabbit herd. I have someone who will watch the geese for me, but will they be ok without much interaction for that span? My goal is highly imprinted animals, will the 3 days harm that?

Thanks

If you want them human imprinted they should have lots of human interaction every day. Can this person keep them in a brooder at their place?

Still in all, I doubt three days would make a huge impact. I'd be more worried about them having fresh water and food not getting chilled from the mess they'll make with both. I used a two quart indoor cat/small dog waterer that kept the water "fairly" fresh while I was at work. I changed it out twice a day.

The best way to imprint them is to hold and handle them several times a day. Let them fall asleep on you.
