Quick question??

I have 19 eggs in the bator 7 hatched the other 12 nothing it day 21 the others hatched yesterday there not rocking or nothing I candles quickly an saw that they were defiantly fertile and developed but why not hatching??

Sometimes they quit developing. Sometimes there are temperature and/or humidity issues. Very rarely will they all hatch.

My temp and humidy have been perfect....what do I do with them if they don't hatch soon? I thought more then 7 would hatch but would I open them and see what happened as far as development and stuff or what I'm not sure it's my first time

You probably shouldn't listen very closely to me because I've never hatched with an incubator before but, are they all the same breed of egg? Either way, I'd give them a bit more time and see what happens. Can't hurt to leave them. Good luck!

Sometimes I have good hatches and sometimes I don't. It is heart breaking when for whatever reason the chicks give up and expire before they hatch. I used to do eggtopsies but could never figure out why they quit. Some are more formed than others but mo way to tell why they failed. I have had late hatches too where I was about to shut down my hatcher and before I new it I had an unexpected hatch. You just never know. Good luck... I would leave them for another day or two and then if they don't hatch toos them. Also I think the temp the eggs were stored at before they are set in the incubator can also be a factor. Just my opinion.

What's the status? I would give them 5 days after the due date to finish hatching, if nothing has happened at or on the 26th day they are probably expired.. Out of all the silkies that i have hatched, they never hatch the day they are suppose too. One or two will hatch a day early and some will hatch the day after they are due. The oldest one I have hatched was on the 24th day... They are soo unpredictable..
