Quilt Block Swap! All blocks have been mailed!

If I hadn't already been signed up on a quilting forum for three other swaps and working on my son's wedding quilt, I would have joined this. Maybe next time. I hope that everybody that did commit to the swap actually follows through. As a frequent swap participant and an occasional swap hostess, I know how frustrating it can be with no-shows.

Thanks horsejody... As you see from the first post it has been a long trying effort to make a quilt..

Unfortunately over half of the original people that signed up failed to fallow through...

I think we all just hope to have something by christmas. We all realize that it take time and money to make and send the squares but I think we are all getting tired of no shows. MP have you set any final date for sending in the squares? I would just be happy with a equal devision of what you have between the few of us that have sent them to you. I think even if we have 5 or 6 of each square it would make a wonderful quilt. Much better then nothing at all... I hope a absolute final dead line is set so that we can finish the quilts we started. I am with Jenn. Let's set a final date firm and then divvy what you have with the ones who followed through with their blocks.

The new people should be sending their blocks by the end of September - maybe even sooner. A couple indicated they could whip them out in 2 or 3 weeks time.

I am looking forward to have this quilt to work on through the fall and early winter. I am just finishing a quilt and have the binding left on the king size monster and I'll be able to move right into this new BYC quilt.

I will have mine done by then definitely..... hopefully by this coming weekend if all goes well. Kinda hectic with school about to start.... but I will get them done

Do you have to make 20 blocks w/ so few people? Would 15 be enough?
