Hey Guys, one other thing I thought would kinda be neat is that when you put your name on it maybe we could also add out state initials???? It would be interesting to see where all 20 or so blocks came from.. Just a thought. Jenn

Umm, I just went shopping and got like 5 different fabrics and 5 colors to match them. All of my blocks have flowers on them, but they are different fabrics. One of them is not really flowery but I think it has a few flowers here and there. We are just supposed to make the blocks right? We aren't stitching any of them together yet are we? Sorry for all the questions.

Hey Peeps, All you are going to do is sew together a 9 block patern square. So far it looks like we have 20 particapents, whick is just about perfect. Make 20 identical squares and you will be done..lol Sounds so simple.. If you are going to go with the basic 9 block, cut your squares at 41/2 inch sq. Sew with a 1/4" seem allowance and when you get done you should have a square that is 12 1/2" sq. Dont forget to put your name on it. I would love for everyone to put thier state initials on it to so you know where in the US these all came from. I always think picking the material is the hardest, sooooo many wonderful patterns and colors!!! Hope this helps, Jenn

So I went to the fabric store today...NO CHICKENS!!! I'm serious. They had No chicken fabric. So I got chicken wire! It's a creamy yellowish fabric with a tan chicken wire pattern. Then a red w/ the same(tan) colored flowers as the chicken wire fabric that's got a really nice country tone to it. So those are mine. I'll try to take pics tommorow. My family is going out dirt bike riding, but I've got too many chores that I don't want to do this week. So I'm staying home. Chores should take me ~4 hours, then I have 2 or 3 to do quilting! Yay!

Actually I got about 5 different patterns so since I already bought different patternscan I just go ahead and make the blcoks different? Like, one block will be a pattern with its solid and another one will be a different fabric with its solid color. Will this be o.k, or will I have to go buy more fabric?
