Quilt Blocks 4 Future Anniversary Gift **Journal w/ Pics**FINISHED

O.k I have really been working hard on this today and I have gotten almost done with the top. Thank you Ginger (ginbart) for the fabric it really helped and looks good to. And you can always know that your donation is helping to keep a very hapy couple warm. Anyone else like to be a part of this? I need some brown floral fabric to go on the sides and then I need to get something for the backing....thinking on the lines of a light floral tan fabric. Anyways here are the pics of the progress today.....

The top has a 12 inch solid strip of fabric across it.

Forgot to add that the 2 "Another Star" blocks that I couldn't use is going to be sent to my Mom's so she can attach them to some more fabric and so she can make 2 pillow shams.

Any suggestions on how I should finish ou the sides in the last pic? I would love to do strip siding but I can't find any more of the fabric.

I love it! I think strips would look great on the sides if you could find enough fabric to do it, but just something solid would look nice too.

Well, you can see what I've been up to on facebook... work, home, working on redoing the house that my sister and brother-in-law bought, etc keeps me pretty busy most days. Lately I can't even stay up... when Mike leaves for work at 9:30pm, I'm often already asleep! But I do need to get on here more often. I miss y'all!

Thanks for the comments. I am so ready to get this quilt done but I want it done right. Now the thoughts that keep running through my head is.....do I hand quilt it, machine quilt it with my sewing machine or send it to be quilted (which I probably can't afford

Still waiting for the right fabrics to finish the sides with and then I'll begin the most tedious part................................................................................................................................hand quilting. This quilt is gonna mean so much to us.
