I do scrappy quilts but tend to use on tone on tone or solid to connect them all together. Like the sample quilt that you showed uses cream, green might be nice where you are using all floral too.
I could use a tone on tone green to pull them all together. It won't take much, as they are just those triangles. I love the quilt in the picture and am going to make it using two different techniques. The trianges are going to be made using Eleanor Burn's triangle in a square, where as the other block will be made by me experimenting. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make a three-striped diagonal square?
Cut the middle stripe to the size of the block (so if it's a 3in finished, cut a 3.5 square in color A. Use the ruler to mark the placements of the side stripes. Sew the corner pieces on the line, flip and square up.
