Quilts of Valor ... one I made

Janet was instrumental in finding my biological family for me. My father, Bobby Fuller (Robert Otis Fuller) was executed by firing squad by Castro back in the early 60's. Janet's father was shot down then executed and his body kept in a freezer to put out on Cuban holidays. She finally got her dad's body back when she became an adult. She knew someone who served in the Marines with Bobby Fuller and it went from there. Such a history! Your quilt is just beautiful, Kathy.

Beautiful quilt Kathy! Do you quilt for others or just for your on hobby? You do beautiful work!

A BIG thank you to your son. Not many people that would give their life for complete strangers and this sacrifice is not lost on me! I thank everyone who has or is serving for the right to live free!

AWESOME QUILT!! Thank you for your son and what he has done for his country. I count myself Blessed to be an American where there are men and women like your son out there that protect my freedoms.

After reading your post I went out and researched Quilts of Valor. I've joined up on FaceBook and will start making quilts for them as soon as I complete my other Christmas projects.

Oh, that's terrific! They can use all the help they can get. There are so many deserving military men and women. I wish I could make one for every single one of them! Really have to stock up on reds and blues! Hey, it's a great reason to increase your stash, right? !

It's beautiful and this old Submarine Sailor salutes you and your family for your service and sacrifice. Jan is also involved in Quilts of Valor. Great organization and great function they perfiorm. Me, I pay tribute by riding with the Patriot Guard Riders. I believe every American should do something to help or honor our service men and women. As many say, Our Freedom Is Not Free.

I just noticed you are from SW MO. We are in Columbia, Tiger Town. We get to Branson from time to time and other points around there. Love fishing Table Rock, Tannycomo and Truman Lakes.
