Quite sure one of our "pullets" is male

Since we're new to chickens I don't have much to compare to, but they seem very friendly to me. They come running over to us, climb into our laps, and have no problem with us picking them up. We have handled them a lot since we got them and have given them treats out of our hands so they are like pets to us. We are not vegetarians though and we're trying to be practical, I just don't think I could handle doing it myself (or seeing it) and I would prefer that he was re-homed. I feel very guilty about the fact that he trusts me and will run up to me and let me pick him up and I would be betraying him.

I like the idea of the funny Craigslist ad though, I think that would get us a good response and we can also try the 4-H.

I also got a roo in my "guaranteed" pullets. We are in the exact same position. I am just waiting to see how loud he turns out to be.....we will try to keep him if we can b/c he really is a sweet guy

I would take him/buy him! What state are you in? I'm in Indiana. I have a leghorn hen that could be his best buddy!
