Daisybelle is the name a new hybrid someone created over here. I wiki'd them yesterday as I've never heard of such a thing before: "The Daisy Belle is a chicken hybrid developed from the Rhode Island Red and the Sussex. It is also known as the Pied Sussex, and Merrydale Pied…" I have another hybrid here, a Bluebelle. She's a Maran x RIR I think. Beautiful blue hen.

I haven't named them yet, after raising two cockbirds named Heide and Gorgeous? I learned…

I really like "Daisybelle" for a name, hmm, sounds Southern

But understand what you mean, naming now could be a roo making jinx. So will just cross my fingers they are all ladies
