Hi! Missed ya'll yesterday, but I have a reasonable excuse...I was in the ER almost the whole day. Apparently, I have a kidney stone

Ouch! You and my DH..well, he didn't go to the ER room, but he had to go to after hrs. and get sewn up.
He cut his index finger on his left hand, and I mean, he cut it! While using a kitchen knife, good ol Cutco!
He had to go back and see the Dr. this morning for re assessment. He can't bend his finger. :/ He needs to
go to a specialist. Will have to have it re opened and try and fix the tendon he cut. Hope he gets function back. :/
Has to go within 3 to 4 days of it happening, will go in tomorrow.

So, how are they handling your kidney stone? Pretty painful things. Let us know, when all of this passes. Literally!

If you start getting them often, there is a medication that can be taken to take down the acid in your body, my DH takes it for gout..kind of the same thing in the body making it happen. He doesn't drink soda pop. Anyway, can't remember the name of that med. Good luck!

I'm hoping to pass the stone today, but it's difficult because I have been vomiting so it's hard to take the medications and such. I will

This is my first one, I don't drink soda pop, lemonade, or any other drink that have been shown to cause kidney stones. I have to send the stone to a doctor to get it tested, that way they will known the chemical makeup and what in my diet caused the stone.
