He made it through the night and was transferred to another hospital where he can get the care he needs. He made it through surgery and is still fighting.

Thanks for the update Sarah! Keep us posted please. It's good that he's hanging in there.

Prayers are being said for those on here that need them or have requested them for others.
Thank you so much for your continuing thoughts and prayers for Kyle. Here is the update from last night.

Hello everyone.
It occurred to me this evening that I never wrote how Kyle was doing after his second chemo. Honestly it was because he is doing great and we have been busy keeping up with him. So far we have not noticed any real side effects, but again this week was one drug (next week he gets two again). He is quite anxious at the thought of lifting his shirt, which has been hard on us for washing or even just going to the bathroom. We want him to feel like he has some control over what is happening to him, but at the same time, we need to be able to look at his port and incision site every day even if we don't have to touch them. We do not like the feeling that he is losing a little trust in us. But he is cheerful most of the time and his moods have evened out a bit since he has been getting full nights of sleep. Sleep definitely helps his mood.
We are having a pleasant, quiet week. I'll try to remember to write again in a day or tomorrow, but in general... no news is most likely a sign of good news :)

Update: The doctors are saying that if my uncle doesn't improve within the next 48 hours, it's over.

But, it also sounds like his inner organs are
barely beginning to improve.

@NotAFarm , glad to hear Kyle is doing better!

Just remember--you can't be a brave soldier/warrior if you don't have a battle to fight. Things may seem hopeless now, but it's all for the best, right?
