I had some extra help for the last couple of days. It was great having them here to help with the chickens and cats, and hard to see they go. They headed home yesterday after lunch so Kyle would have a full day a home before his Monday chemo appointment.
Pictured with us is Cy (He was a feral cat that was trapped. He had an infected eye and the vet had to remove it. They called him Cyclops at the clinic. My friend, that brought Cy in, knew I was looking for a second "companion cat" for my lone barn cat, called and asked if I'd take him. He is the best cat with the kids. Loves attention and they always ask about him when we Skype or talk on the phone). The lone hen in the second photo with Kyle is an Icelandic that I got from BYCer @KYTinpusher . Her daughter raised Cupcake and whenever the kids are around, Cupcake is the first, and sometimes only, one to rush up and see what they have for her. The last photo is of Icelandic Gula and her chick. The kids love the tiny chicks and I was glad to have one hatch just a few days before they came. Thank you for your continuing prayers for Kyle and his family!!
