Actually I talk to myself out loud because I don't have great hearing
just finished reading the book Metro 2033, found this line to be really powerful.

On this Mother's Day weekend, I realize that not everyone's experience with their mother is the same. It is my hope that even if yours is/was not a great one, you will be thankful for the gift of life she gave you.
I am posting this in honor of my Mom and Mother-in-law, both of whom fit this description, and my Daughter and Daughter-in-law, who are younger versions that are equally wonderful.
