Me too! I shared that quote today, because I liked it and I'm thrilled to find such like-minded company. I'm enjoying these agri and farm themed quotes and memories.

If ever you need an eye opening reminder how dependant we've become on supermarkets and shops and farmers for food...
 
I am trying my hardest to start a CSA on my land... I have hundreds of signature supporting the idea but sadly no money. I applied for a grant recently but that opportunity was not meant to be, so I will continue on. Almost no body produces fruits or vegetables here, I live in a sea of cattle, which is great because I can find healthy local meat ( and manure ) but I want to provide fresh organic produce to the local population... I am very blessed with two green thumbs, I hope I can grow more each year and share more each season... And perhaps make a modest living at some point...

Sorry, not trying to preach at all. I'm a libertarian through & through...people are free to do whatever they want if it doesn't hurt me/mine or impose on someone else's liberty. And I have never agreed with imprisoning someone for years for a non-violent crime. I'm just saying that making weed legal is being done purely for profit driven reasons.

Good for you Sam. Keep trying, you might get more people on board every season.
 
I keep thinking about Jan saying her house was an elephant and she needed to take a bite out of it. My greenhouse, coop and flower beds are my elephants today...guess I'll go take a bite out of them.
