Are you working in your garden again today? The weather was perfect here for our garden work yesterday, maybe today too. Unless we get diverted by runaway goat kids again or have unexpected encounters with interesting hermit neighbors or whatever else may pop up.

Are you working in your garden again today? The weather was perfect here for our garden work yesterday, maybe today too. Unless we get diverted by runaway goat kids again or have unexpected encounters with interesting hermit neighbors or whatever else may pop up.

Yea gotta try and Finnish planting. Got side tracked some yesterday my two grandsons got dropped off plus we had a baby shower for my daughter yesterday. But its all good I'd rather spend time with them any time.

@Bowleggedcowboy , that's so nice how much you like your family and that you get to spend time together. Mine is getting smaller all the time (either by choice or death) and none anywhere close physically.

Get those grandsons out there in the garden with you! Little kids are a lot closer to the ground than us adults, they can always pick weeds, lol.

I love little kids, they are some of the most interesting people around.

What happened with the hermit neighbors Debby?

We had a young pregnant cat show up during a rainstorm a few days ago. We took her in and her & I hit it off right away, DH warned me not to get attached but I did. Found out yesterday she came from an elderly lady a couple properties away. She had only had her 1 day, already has 5 cats and wasn't 100% sure she wanted the cat back but took her anyway. I keep thinking we maybe should have kept the little thing. The old gal was a real "character" and was kind of rough with the cat (she also made it clear she doesn't like men at all, thinks Hilary is the bomb and Obama is just a befuddled innocent). What else could we do, she belonged to the old lady, right? I dunno, maybe the cat will find her way back to us someday. I miss the little lap warmer.
