You did the right thing by taking the cat back but if she comes back I'd keep her. Cause if she comes back fate and the cat is saying something to you. I know when the grandkids get into their teenage years they will have other interest like girlfriends but I think we will always be close.

I really miss my cat. She got hit by a reckless ATV rider on my dirt road. I had her about 4 years she was wild at first bit I tamed her. She would wait for me where I'd park my jeep and walk me to the door every evening when I'd get home from work.

To me Animals are family. My DW was so attached to our dog we had for 12 years (Casey died of old age) she won't let me get another one. But I got my chickens now hehe. I don't like the ATV's on the dirt road for a few reasons mainly cause they rut up the raod and we got good size hills and the ATVs will be coming up on the wrong side of raod and you won't see them till you crest the top of the hill but by then its almost to late.
