The only problem with this quote is the years it takes to realize you are finally at that point. Those years are difficult years.

And always use your own pen!

Years ago someone told me this, since the pens that clerks hand you to sign your credit card receipt are handled by everyone and never get washed. I used my own pen for years (plus did all the other normal things) and never got sick, which is a miracle since I work with the public and shake hands with people 10-15 times a day. Then a few years ago I changed wallets and didn't keep a pen in it, so it was just more convenient to use the pen that was offered rather than dig through my purse. That year I was sick three times until I remembered the pen issue. I changed to a different wallet with a pen holder, and haven't been sick since.

It is granny from sqidbillies. It is a show that comes on cartoon network at midnight when the kiddies are asleep! lol
