I was so proud of them. They haven't even been around a week and the chickens ate most of the pedals and now I'm thinking the rest will go.

I must not be meant to have flowers. This could be a sign that I should stick with trees

I'm glad you all like it, Jan. I've seen some more flowers I want to go photograph some time, but I don't want to overdo it with the pics. But while they last... autumn will be here before we know it.

The guy at the garden centre told me they will be getting in some of those heavenly wild roses in October.

*Note to self: buy strong gardening gloves. Those things' thorns have thorns!
