OH, and a 7-8 foot long King snake who slithered rapidly away in the opposite direction from what I was running in!

If that was me, I'd be trying to catch it. I remember bring one home, wrapped around my whole arm as a kid. Asking my mom, if I could keep it. I love to catch critters.

I agree about catching critters EXCEPT if they have more than 4 legs (spiders and most insects) or fewer than 2 legs (snakes). I suspect that they are really not from this planet. Probably rode in on an asteroid millions of years ago.

Good morning everyone. Alive and relieved over here, the cooker (stove) got repaired last night. The electrician kindly went to find the bits he needed and stayed and worked until nearly midnight to get it back to safe, working order. I am so glad we found there was a problem, before someone got hurt…
