Man, great quotes today! Nicky, love your flowers as usual. Had to cut all of my roses back, now waiting for more to come on. I just put more rose feed under the bushes. Hope I get more roses soon! Are those orange ones on the bottom picture called Marigolds? We have those if so. I have some large ones and some small ones planted.

Well, went and took another look, they don't look like Marigold. The leaves look like the kind that will crawl on the ground..do they open during the sunny part of the day...close a bit during the evening and night?

Moss Rose. They have some pretty colors. :)

That's good to hear! It's been rainy here since the weekend, but yesterday evening it cleared up and today warm, by Irish standards lol Beautiful weather today. Where I came from, in SA, we went over 50*C a time or two in summer and some nights, it didn't go much below 30*C. We used to joke and say hell will no surprises for us, after that heat, we were ready for everything! 

On a different note, the electricity gremlin stuck it's head out again. I bought a new hair dryer and just blew it up. It didn't even switch on, it just blew, wall plug everything... and the TV won't work now… I'm ready to move. It's only a few more days, we'll just have to go easy on the powered stuff here and bite the bullet. Update from the house is that it will be ready very soon, they are working like mad on it now.

50*c :eek: That is hot!! Just the thought brings me out in a sweat.

I would say you have some very iffy electrics going on there. Hope these few more days go fast for you and you can get out of there.
