We're looking… I got "kidnapped" by my son's school's principal this afternoon and she spent the entire afternoon driving around with me, trying to find something suitable and talking with people she knows. The people in this country… Beautiful, just beautiful.

Hi WB..I am doing really well lately. Been back to the dr. got some answers as to what that ICU stay was all about, and the next procedure done. At least they don't think it was my heart. I'll go with that. I am going to go get a whatchyamacallit...lol..to put on to test me at nights now. While I was in the hospital I was setting off the alarm all night, telling me to take a deep breath. My sats are way low at night. I may be up for an oxygen machine for the night. They say it really helps if you are needing it. Anyway, I can do this sleep test at home. I was so glad to hear that. Hopefully, it will cost less that at the hospital like they do sometimes.

Hope you are well and enjoying your garden goodies. My chard is really taking off finally. And, my tomato plants..well....slowly but surely. My sunflower plants are getting up there. The wild ones in the back..I have one bloomed. I love even the wild ones. :)

Good morning everyone! I have some really good news. Asheron is back to normal, after a week of antibiotics. I don't think I'll get the x-rays now. Thank you everyone for your well wishes and prayers! I believe they helped.:weee

As for the kitchens, they are growing like weeds.

Gosh those kittens are growing fast, going to be running around any day now.

Good morning everyone, had to play catch up again with you all's wonderful quotes :hugs  We hit an unexpected bump this side, we cannot move into the house we've been waiting for so long. I've spent some time yesterday looking for an alternative and may have found something. I'm going to check it out on Monday. It's frustrating, but I guess it's God's way of saying no, I want you THERE…

Hope the house hunt on Monday goes well, :fl you are really overdue for some good luck!

When we experience hardships, we usually wonder why God allows these painful situations to come our way. It just doesn't seem to fit with His role as our loving heavenly Father. We struggle to reconcile our suffering with His love for us and His power to prevent or stop it. In order to understand what's going on, we need to consider the possible sources of adversity.

A Fallen World: When sin entered the world, suffering came with it. God could have protected us from these harmful effects by making us like puppets who could not choose sin, but that would mean we'd also be unable to choose to love Him, because love must be voluntary.

Our Own Doing: Sometimes we get ourselves into trouble with our foolish or sinful choices. If the Lord stepped in and rescued us from every negative consequence, we'd never grow into mature believers.

God's Sovereignty: Ultimately, the Lord is in charge of all adversity that comes our way. To deny His involvement contradicts His power and sovereignty over creation.

For us to accept that God allows--or even sends--afflictions, we must see adversity from His perspective. Is your focus on the pain of your experience or on the Lord and His faithfulness? As believers, we're assured that no adversity comes our way unless He can use it to achieve His good purposes.

Hope they are able to figure out what is going on, :hugs glad it isn't your heart at least. Half my relatives use some version of a CPAP machine at night, they really do seem to work well.
