Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

This seems to be a day of transitioning on BYC. Not just on this thread but on several there have been friends sharing about the loss of family, birds, cats and dogs. While it is a sad time when this occurs it is also a time of learning how closely tied we all are to eternity...

This made me think of my Dad. Thank you for sharing.

You have to be in one of the most photographic places ever Sumi! I really enjoy the pictures you've shared with us.
This place is a photographer's dream. I often, when I'm driving, see things that are so beautiful and wish I can stop to take a pic, but unfortunately those places are often the worst place to stop! lol I wish I could fly you all over there for a month and go show you all the beautiful spots I found.

On a lighter note, I got dragged off to the beach this morning. I stopped on the way to photograph an old fort on the way, I've forgotten the name now… The castles and ruins in Clare and Tipperary are quite amazing and there are so many of them here! If I ever time I want to visit and photograph them all.

wow. so beautiful.

All the beautiful thoughts everyone is quoting today about the afterlife are so lovely and comforting to those of us (temporarily, at least) left behind... but they have me tearing up so much!

It's lovely to find some comfort in the sadness of losing loved ones and thinking about and remembering them, even if it makes us sad. Sorry about that...

When my Dad left I read the book "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. (The messed it up with the movie) I found that strangely comforting.
