Just a little truth.
Only the single thread stitching will zipp open.
The one picture above is a 2 thread stich. I never got that type to zip open.
Feed bags usually have the bottom,,2 thread type, and top,, single thread style.
The bottom more secure stitching is most likely such,,, so that premanufactured bags do not open accidently during filling.

Many decades ago I was pretty good at getting them to open. I have not had any in the last couple years. Most are pull tab and easy.

My mother was a history buff. She loved Davy Crockett, Sam Houston, and Daniel Boone, as well as anything to do with Texas History.
