I'm so sorry, I lost a hen named Salt a couple weeks ago, she was the sweetest thing I knew. She was a barred rock. She laid a brown egg almost every day. She was the head of my flock of six, now my flock of five. I miss her very much. She was attacked at around 4-5 am so my parents found her... We lost her to a raccoon, my best friends' fish and hamsters died the same day, so it was a bad day all around. R.I.P Bell'e and Salt. I'm so sorry for your loss.
