R.I.P Blair

My poor silkie hen Blair died tonight. I came home and there she was, stiff and dead. Im guessing broken neck since her head was between the bars. My mom put her in the freezer so we could have a little funeral. She was one of my first chickens. I used to call her "Care Blair" (instead of care bear). She was a sweet chicken, one of my favorites. Im hoping she didnt die of disease that the rest of my flock can get.
Anyway, RIP blair, we are all going to miss you.

She is the one on my profile picture/avatar. No pictures of her on this computer, they are all on the other one

Oh that is soooo sad!
Same thing happened to me once.
It was a while ago but I had this silkie chicken named Belle.(you see her on the left.)
She died an old age,she was my favorite.
So I feel what you feel.
But the good thing is there's more chickens in the world..

My flock is still young, so hopefully they live long and happy lives...

I'm so sorry for your loss

I lost one of my favorite Roo's today as well. It got really cold here last night and I think he just couldn't handle it. He was my favorite and was such a sweetie. He's the one in my profile pic. Hang in there,...it's hard when we have a loss but atleast you have fellow bird lovers here to support you.
