Haha, she liked to give me a heart attack the other day when I cleaned out the quail house.
I had finished cleaning the quail house and and had all the pens ready, I was carry'in one quail at a time from my room to the quail house .. I opened the quail house door and she some how got out of my hand .. they can get out of my quail house so I was freaking out ... so I ran back to the house as fast as I could and got my mom and we FINALLY caught the wild girl!

Any name ideas? I still haven't named any of them, all though, I did name one of the Silvers Bella.

Well now I have to edit this.AH not a tux, makes sense now- ANGEL - look at those wings. If you have an Angel call her Angelwing cause she has em. Still a little cutie. I don; know I look at him and all I can think of is Coco Cap.

Trust me, if I could have a house birdy she would already be here. I have COPD, no birds in the house. I am pushing it with the quaily babies for a few days after hatching. Why DH made me the outside brooder. Which I need to check on.

I have been trying to talk DD into letting me hatch some Buttons and her keeping them. But NO, unfortunately, she learned to say that from me. I even told her she was depriving DGD from having a loving experience with her very own bird at home. NO.

DGD loves my chickens and the White Coturnix's, why they are called Vanilla's. This didn't work either. I guess I am not very good at conniving her. Actually she learned her tricks from me, so knows what to expect. In the mean time DGD is looking on, learning also. And she's really good at manipulating Mama. So I haven't given up yet, things like this take time. Thanksgiving is coming and DGD will be here and I can show her pictures. So don't take these down till after the holidays.

Got to check on babies.
