That is such sad news - Chloe looks very much like my Matilda ( she helps herself to food from the dogs bowls in my kitchen )... Matilda seems to think she belongs in our house although she does go down to the roost (reluctantly) at night....

My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time - you loved her and she knew it - you were a special Mum to her - be happy ( in time) that she was such a special girl to you - I wish for you to have happy memories of a very unique girl who gave you such great memories.

p.s mine are dying like nobodys business - I think it may be the Guinea Fowl who are attacking my chickens and killing them - one male in particular is VERY aggresive at the moment - time for a cull I think!
